New Patient Information – Eatontown, NJ

What to Know Before Your First Visit

When it comes to your first visit, we want to set the right tone. That’s why Dr. Gizachew and his team members want your visit to be as positive as possible. As you’ll read below, you’ll find the most important information necessary to getting you started as a new patient. This includes what to expect at the appointment, potential financing options, and other ways you can get ready to see us. If you have any questions, please call our office!

Your First Visit

Once you check in with the front desk, we’ll begin a tour of the office on our way to the operatory where you’ll receive your exam and cleaning. You deserve a clear picture of what your oral health looks like as well as an opportunity to address any concerns that need further attention. Afterwards, Dr. G will share his findings with you and offer recommendations on procedures he believe will best help you. During the final portion of your appointment, you can go over financial details of your care with our team members.

New Patient Forms

All patients will need to complete new patient forms at their first visit. This gives us a chance to gain important context on your overall and oral health. It also gives us a chance to know what to look for as we complete your first exam. If we need to be concerned about certain areas (i.e. the gums, teeth, jaw joints, etc.) we will know to pay closer attention to them before the exam occurs. Want to save time during the check-in process? Download our forms from our website and complete them on your own time at home. When you bring them to our office, you can save a minimum of 20 minutes in our waiting room.

Dental Insurance Welcome

Dental insurance makes it easier to complete many dental treatments you couldn’t before, especially preventive care, due to the higher out-of-pocket costs often associated with them. NU Dental Eatontown is proud to be in-network with many of the country’s leading dental plans. However, we also accept plans from out-of-network insurance providers. Before your first visit, please give us a call with your insurance information handy. This way, we can explain your benefits directly to you. Over the years, we’ve employed a team of experts who have been working with dental insurance for a long time. When it comes to filling our essential paperwork and saving money, you’ll want them by your side.

Membership Plan

The last thing we want is for you to skip essential preventive care because you don’t have dental benefits. NU Dental Eatontown remains dedicated to helping everyone afford preventive services, which is why we offer an in-house membership savings plan. This plan comes in Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers, all with varying levels of coverage based on your needs. No matter what plan you decide to pay for, your dental fees should be significantly lower for all if not most essential dental services. You won’t have to worry about age limits, annual maximums, or deductibles to meet. If you’re interested, please give our office a call and we’ll break down the details.
